Lucas was bred by Grant and Joanne Williams of Tzinquaw Boxers. His sire was the incredible Ch. Doll Announces Veni Vidi Vici SOM/CLOM, a dog with an amazing pedigree. Veni was the product of 25 year old semen and represents the finest of Mephisto breeding. Lucas' dam is a daughter of the great Am/Can/Mex. Ch. Mephisto's I Stand Alone (a Veni Vidi Vici son) and a beautiful Am/Can Ch. Mephisto's Rosenkavalier daughter.
Lucas is a tall, elegant boy with a strong head, good bite, dark eyes, and a wonderful temperament. He began his show career with a bang winning Best of Breed his first day in the ring. He obtained his Canadian Championship easily as a puppy, expertly handled by Geri Thompson. Lucas continued in the show ring for several years as a Special and has enjoyed competing in Agility events as well. Above all else he is a wonderful companion and we are delighted to have such a loving boy in our family.
His greatest accomplishments have come as a stud dog. He is now the proud poppa of his first amazing litter. This litter consists of 4 Canadian Champions. His son Austin is featured on our webpage, click here for his page.

Lucas was awarded best Veteran Dog at the 2009 Manitoba Boxer Club and Boxer Club of Canada Regional by judges Shirley Bell and Cheryl Robbins
Some things get better with age! Lucas wins Best Overall in Sweepstakes and Best Veteran at the 2010 Manitoba Boxer Club under judges Jim Brown and Tom Perret. The next day at the Boxer Club of Canada Regional Lucas wins Best Veteran and Award of Merit under judge Donna Cole.
Happy 10th Birthday Lucas - July 22, 2011
These photos were taken on Lucas' 10th Birthday - only 3 weeks after suffering a full twist torsion emergency surgery and spleen removal. Lucas amazed the vets with his extremely quick recovery and was released from the clinic after only 36 hours as opposed to the week that most dogs take to recover. He has no residual affects of this near death emergency and we are so happy to have our wonderful boy still us for hopefully many years to come. Lucas was back in the show ring the following month competing in the Manitoba Boxer Club Specialty in the Veterans Class.
